Promax
adds value to its digital visual presenter
DP550
After
a couple of months product improvement,
Promax finally came up with a solution
to make its DP550 visual presenter
control any projector.
ProMax®
DP550 digital visual presenter has
claimed lots of attention for its
unique central control function, which
enables power on/off and input selection
to the projector with the pressing
of buttons. This function is only
available in the ProMax® DP550
among all the visual presenters in
the market. It offers great value
and saves at least $200.00 for the
customers. DP550 has been a star in
the Promax product line since its
first release and numerous users have
enjoyed the convenience brought by
its central control system. However,
Promax has never contended to the
superb market performance and made
great effort to make the DP550 self-programmable
- works with any projector rather
than only controls Hitachi brand by
default and demands additional cost
for customization. From this July,
the DP550 customers purchased is a
standard unit that controls any projector
without additional cost.
The
operation of the central control function
is very strait forward. To enable
this function, the user only needs
to install the software that comes
with the product into his/her hard
drive, and then make all the necessary
connections followed by the user's
manual. Once done, launch the installed
Promax Code Writing 1.0 and it's on-screen
instruction will walk you through
the whole process in a couple of minutes.
The process is to let you "write"
the projector's control code into
the ProMax® DP550 so that it can
identify and control any projector.
If you change the projector later
on, the only thing you need to do
is to repeat the above said process
to make the ProMax® DP550 control
the new projector. There is no limitation
on how many times a user changes projector.
Other
than the amazing central control function,
like the ProMax® DP500, the ProMax®
DP550 prides itself with excellent
image quality to beat out any analog
model with its built in digital processing
card, which converts external analog
signal to RGB output so that the image
projected onto the screen has undisputable
outstanding digital quality. High
picture quality combined with many
digital effects and working options
make every presentation in front of
a large audience real fun. In addition,
it has 18X power zoom lens with a
12X digital extender for extreme close-ups,
auto focus, auto balance, negative/positive
mode and auto-iris capability. It
offers versatile connectivity including
2 RGB in/out, composite video in/out
and S-video in/out along with USB
and RS232 connections to enable image
capturing and computer control functions.
It also includes a wireless remote
control to make the operation easier.
